The Manifesto of Innovation and Artisan Passion

Patavium is the Roman name for Padua, our city, and for us it represents a tribute to the history of our region.

Patavium probably had its own “Tabernae” 2,000 years ago, but it would be presumptuous to claim that our ancestors built them…

Patavium Design and craftsmanship

We too, in our own small way, have 50 years of history, which, as in many other cases, began in a small artisan workshop on the outskirts of the city (at that time called the “Marangon”).

The founders of Patavium Design were indeed carpenters, the kind who would repair a furniture leg or build a table strictly in solid wood.

Then, at the end of the 1980s, the second generation entered the company, bringing new ideas, trends, methodologies, and ultimately technology.

Many things have changed since the first location, leading to our current modern facility designed to meet our needs and those of our clients.

Now, to prepare the ground for the third generation, we continue to work on modernizing the company, applying the most current strategies and processes, while naturally maintaining our artisan heritage with attention to detail.

Patavium Design in the modern design era

With the new millennium, we felt the need to renew ourselves through a radical change in the company’s corporate identity, making decisive changes to our brand, logo, commercial policies, and positioning.

In 2010, our expansion into European markets began, proudly offering uncompromising Italian Design, an expansion that has been highly successful to date, with numerous completed projects and many more underway. Today we have an in-house design studio centered around young professionals, and we also work with several external Architects.

Thanks to our 4-phase ARTE working method, we are now able to execute projects of all types, from bars to bakeries, from German breweries to pastry shops, including jewelry stores, delicatessens, wine cellars, and much more. Our production department is capable of handling any project, whether complete (turnkey) or renovation with guaranteed deadlines.
